Student packages (UPS, FedEx, & USPS) will generally be delivered to the hall desk (Roberta, Hudson-Perrin, South Complex, Forest Village Apartments commons, Millikan, Franken, Dieterich) or to The Station (Tower Suites) by 5:00pm on the work day after they arrive on campus.
Students can call Central Receiving to pick up packages at the Support Services building.
Overnight packages will be delivered the same day they arrive on campus.

Tips for Students
FedEx & UPS packages are generally received more quickly than United States Postal Service (USPS) packages. FedEx & UPS deliver directly to Central Receiving.
Central Receiving sends UPS & FedEx packages and receives USPS, UPS, & FedEx packages. Mail & Printing Services sends USPS packages. Central Receiving & Mail & Printing Services are located in the Support Services Building.
What if my UPS or FedEx package tracking shows “delivered” but it is not at my residence hall front desk? UPS & FedEx tracking shows “delivered” when the package was received at Central Receiving. Central Receiving personnel still need to sort and deliver the packages to the residence halls – typically the next work day. If you want your package earlier, it can be picked up at Central Receiving 8am-5pm on weekdays. Please call Central Receiving first to ensure your package is there.
What if my USPS package tracking shows “delivered to final agent” or "delivered to Maryville" but it is not at my residence hall front desk? USPS tracking shows "delivered to Maryville" when it has arrived at the post office in Maryville. Central Receiving personnel still need to pick up the package at the post office. USPS tracking shows “delivered to final agent” when the package was picked up at the post office by Central Receiving personnel. Central Receiving personnel still need to sort and deliver the packages to the residence halls – typically the next work day. Packages are not received or delivered on weekends. Do not pay extra for Saturday delivery because your package will not arrive at Northwest until Monday.
Address your package clearly with your first and last name, residence hall, and room number. Do not use your parent’s name. Packages without clear addresses delay the delivery process. If you realize that a package coming to you does not have a clear address, contact Central Receiving.
Oversize packages (futons, fridges, etc.) may not fit in the package area at your residence hall or The Station. Central Receiving will contact the student to arrange a time to deliver the item to the residence hall front desk.
Students may drop off items to be sent via UPS or FedEx at Central Receiving. Students must purchase and print a label for their items prior to drop off. Central Receiving can provide assistance. Students may drop off items to be sent via USPS and purchase USPS postage at Mail & Printing Services.
UPS & FedEx packages cannot be forwarded. Central Receiving can make arrangements to send a UPS or FedEx package if the student provides a prepaid label. USPS packages can be forwarded if a student has provided a forwarding address.
